Golden Mylk 

Yield: 4 cups tea


For the tea:

8 2” pieces fresh turmeric grated*

4 2” piece fresh ginger grated

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

4 cups water

4 tsp. honey

1/2 cup almond milk (optional)

  1. Combine the turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and pepper in a small bowl. Bring the water to boil. Turn off the heat and add 1 heaping teaspoon of the turmeric mixture and seep for 3 minutes.

  2. Strain the tea into a mug and stir in the honey and milk. Store the remaining mixture in a glass container with a lid and use as desired.
